Clothes that
only exist if you
call for them.
The Makers Archive is an archive of pieces in waiting. Independent designers post the work; supporters pledge. If a piece reaches its goal, we make it. If it doesn’t, no one is charged and no fabric is cut. The model is older than fast fashion. We’re just bringing it back.
A designer logs the piece
They post photos, set a price, decide how many pledges they need before production makes sense, and tell the story behind the work.
Supporters pledge
If you want the piece, you place a pledge. Your card is held — never charged — until the goal is met. If it isn’t reached by the deadline, the hold is released automatically.
The piece is made
Once enough pledges are in, we work with the designer to produce and ship. You get the piece eight to sixteen weeks later, with a clear timeline you can watch in your account.
Make what gets asked for.
You bring the work and the story. We handle payments, manufacturing coordination, and shipping. You take home the bulk of every pledge — we earn a single, transparent commission only when a drop actually funds.
